Are you watching closely? In our inaugural episode we discuss a film our co-host Steve had previously never seen - shocker - 2006's The Prestige by Christopher Nolan. We try to get to the bottom of who is the man in the box and see if Steve actually liked the film - punctuated by musings on the many disorienting time jumps and complex themes weaved throughout. Unsatisfied with dedicating an entire podcast to a singular topic, hosts G-Baby and Steve embark on a journey of discovery decided by chance - each episode one of three possible topics will be examined. We’ll either review a hidden (or not-so-hidden) cinematic gem previously unseen by the resident film neophyte Steve; discuss any number of strange, mysterious, or otherwise unexplained events; or finally a random wild-card topic of our choosing. We’re here for the deep cuts; only the choice nugs as it were.
